It goes a little something like this: I have a passion for fashion.

Hey friend! I’m so glad that you’re here. If you have found yourself to this blog spot, I am super excited and thankful for your interest in my content. For starters, that's me to the left if you hadn't figured that out already. My name is Maddy Wise. I am 22, and a 5th year senior from Portage Lakes, Ohio studying Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, Business Administration and Social Media.
Being a college student is hard. So stinkin’ tough, you guys. Spending every dollar wisely is, nonetheless of, our lifestyle. With that, who doesn’t like getting a deal on something that they are spending their hard-earned money on? There is NOTHING (okay, well maybe some things, but..) like it. That feeling that you get when you spend less than what you were anticipating, and getting exactly what you needed (well, maybe just…wanted...whoops) is such a great one.
Let's really get to where I'm going with all of this.
I take a considerable amount of pride in the way that I dress. I have the mentality of "look good, feel good"-- but, seriously. The way that people dress is a form of expression, whether it's of what they believe in, what their interests are, and overall, how one wants others to view them.
I follow a few different fashion and lifestyle bloggers on social media. A few of my favorite's are Bre Sheppard, Sabrina Tan, and Kathleen Post.
What sets me aside from other Instagram bloggers with a similar focus is the fact that a lot of what they promote costs near an arm and a leg (not legitimately, but you get what I'm saying)-- it's prettyyy expensive. Knowing my status financially, and if we're being 100% honest, I cannot afford much of what they're promoting from higher-end boutiques and stores.
I've never been one to head to the full-priced racks. More times than not, I dart straight to the clearance racks. But really, who doesn’t want to walk out of the store with more items, for less money? I am a true believer of bargain shopping, and I want to show others that you are able to rock what you want, or what you see others wearing in the media, too!
Shopping at retail chains and closeout stores for brand new, but lower priced clothing is the method to my madness. A few of my favorites include Gabe's, T.J. Maxx, and Marshalls. I can’t wait to start this journey of blogging that I have been anticipating doing for a while, and cueing you all in on my passion for fashion, how and where I shop, and touching on a little taste of lifestyle blogging throughout. Let’s do this!
♡XO, Maddy
