Wardrobe updating for season changes

As we approach the winter season, I have been ever so slowly, if I'm being honest here, transitioning out my spring/summer closet items to bring in my fall/winter attire.
Let me tell you guys, it's a total pain in the rear doing this. But, I unfortunately do not have enough closet space to house all of my clothes and shoes year-round. Although my closet is a decent size, I choose separate my items for the seasons to ensure that I can actually locate what I want to wear, when I want to wear it.
I am lucky enough to have the attic space for storage, because I do still live at home.

What I have found to be the easiest is to do is to focus on one thing at a time (sounds like a given, I know). But, often times, I find myself wanting to try to get everything done all at one time, and I have found that that remedy leads to nothing but a bundle of stress and a possible mental breakdown.
I pull all of my clothes that I will not be wearing during that particular season, and organize them into storage bins (you can these at Walmart, Target, Marc's, Big Lots, etc.) with lids to maintain the quality of the items.
When I get rid of clothing, I try to organize what I think Plato's Closet will take into baskets. Anything that they do not take, I usually give away to a friend or family member, or donate them to Goodwill.
